Dr Paw Paw - The Multi-tasking Miracle

I recently received a sample of this in the post and was really excited to give it a go. I've been hearing a lot about Dr PawPaw lately and how amazing it is, obviously I wanted to see if it really was worth the hype it's gaining.

If you aren't familiar with Dr PawPaw then here everything you really need to know.

Dr PawPaw is a multi-purpose balm that can be used on lips, skin, heels and nails to treat dry or under nourished problem areas. It is made using Olive Oil, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice and it's defining ingredient, Carica Papaya.

Carica Papaya is jam packed with anti-oxidants, vitamins and minerals and when applied to this skin it can help repair damage whilst adding moisture to prevent any further issues.

I've been using this on both my lips and cuticles and it is just such a nice product to use. As you apply this is just seems to melt and really work into the skin. It's also non sticky which is an added bonus, especially for those who can't tolerate that tacky feeling. I've really noticed a difference to the texture of my lips as they've become softer and smoother. My cuticles don't feel so dry either and it really takes manicure to that next level when your skin looks good.

This is also available in a peach pink and a red tinted version for those who want to add a bit of colour to their care. It is also fragrance free, great for those who have fragrance allergies or for anyone who doesn't like their products to come with a smell.

This retails for only £6.95 and is available from the Dr PawPaw website here

Let me know if you have tried this. What do you think?

Benefit Box O' Blushes First Impressions & Swatches!

I really just want to jump into this post and not waffle on too much but you may have noticed that I have been absent for some weeks now. This has been because I have been moving rooms in my house and reorganising my room which has taken quite a lot of my attention! Anyway, I think there's not much more to say than that so I am just going to crack on.

Benefits blush boxes are nothing new and to be honest, whilst I have wanted to try one, it's never been on the top of my list of things to buy but when they came out with their Christmas range featuring a blush palette with 5 blushes, a bronzer and a cream highlight I really just couldn't resist! These aren't full size products but I feel like they are going to last me an awfully long time so I will be excited to get my wear out of them. I also really feel like these are a great value deal especially if, like me, you've never tried their blushes before and aren't sure what might suit you as this palette costs £29.50 whereas a single full size blush costs about £23.50.

I am loving the look of their Christmas gift range this year, they've gone for a sweet shop sort of vibe which I think is just too cute! The tin itself feels really robust which is great for the not so careful make up lovers out there. The only downside to this packaging for me is the fact it doesn't have a mirror, considering most palettes include one, I was very surprised by this.

Te overall presentation in the box is really pretty, I love how they have the names are printed on the products so you know what each one is without having to consult the plastic protective film that covers the products.

From left to right (Hoola, Dandelion, Bella Bamba, Sugarbomb, Coralista, Rockateur and Watt's Up)

Hoola is definitely one of the biggest cult products going and certainly one of the ones I was most looking forward to trying. I think the product I was least excited (but still very excited) to try was Coralista as I don't tend to go for coral/peachy colour but it's still a super pretty colour that will definitely come in handy.

Hoola - Matte, warm bronzer
Dandelion - Lightly shimmered pale pink
Bella Bamba - Shimmery, warm pink
Sugarbomb - Lightly shimmered, peachy pink
Coralista - Shimmery, warm coral
Rockateur - Lightly shimmered, warm rose
Watt's Up - Champagne pearl

I am very pleasantly surprised by these blushes as they are really nicely pigmented and also blend out really nicely. You might know about my love-hate relationship with Benefit and thankfully this falls onto the love side.

I am also really excited to create some looks using this palette and will probably give more in-depth individual review in upcoming posts.

I also wanted to say a massive thanks to my readers as I am now at 400 followers on Bloglovin' and that I will be holding another give away when I reach 500 followers :D

Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner Pen | First Impression

I haven't really been going out of my way to get magazines lately but when my sister brought this months issue of Glamour home I knew I would have to rush out and get it. This month they are featuring the Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner Pen and as the magazine is only £2 I could hardly say no.

The eyeliner pen itself has lovely packaging, I know packaging isn't the most compelling of topics but lets face it, you probably wouldn't give a second look to the product if the packaging was rubbish. It is fairly plain but I like that because it looks neat and clean, the pen also has a little weight to it which I think is major important for ease of application and it makes it feel expensive too!

The applicator looks amazing, it's very similar to that of the Collection 24Hr Extreme Liner which you know I love. Anything that has a chunky to thin tip is fine by me.

The pigmentation is fantastic! It's super opaque and I feel like I have good control with this pen so I should be able to create the perfect lines.

Here's where it all went wrong. This liner is good in theory but when it came to actual use it just wasn't up to it. I am kind of upset but then I didn't pay that much for the magazine. When I have tried to apply this it seems that the amount of pressure needed to get the pigmentation is not the sort of pressure you would dare to put on your own eyeballs. At best I managed to get some diluted black lines but found it very difficult to get my liner done. Ultimately I gave up and went back to my trusty Collection liner.

I don't want to slag this product off because sometimes I feel that it's possible I got a duff one and that usually it's a great liner so I wouldn't rule it out completely. I am going to keep trying out to see if it's one of those things where the first few tries are crap but it works great after or something, so do keep an eye out for an update of this and definitely check out as many reviews as possible.

On the upside (if the product turns out to be good) it does only retail for £12 which I think is not a bad price to pay.

First Impressions: Invisibobble

I have seen these posted around but didn't really pay too much notice. However, I was in Boots today and for some reason was drawn to them and had to have them. So here we are now with another First Impression review.

Super intrigued by these and I decided to go for the clear version because it is called 'Invisibobble' so I thought I would give it fair chance to demonstrate that.

So this is what the bobble looks like. Very strange, reminds me of old fashioned telephone wires.

Surprisingly it was actually super easy to stretch out and was bigger than I thought it would be. I was expecting that it would be super difficult to put my hair in a bun but actually it was nice and easy.

My hair is a little wet (add an extra challenge) but I would not say that this is completely invisible but it's also not massively obvious that your bobble in on show. I reckon that actually I need a bit of practice and then I will be able to get it looking invisible.

Have you tried these? What do you think?

First Impressions: No7 Beautifully Matte Make Up Base

This is the second of the No7 primers that I have recently tried, so lets get on with it.
First up it has the same packaging as the other primer but I feel that the other in its deep brown colour looks more expensive. This is double the size of the other one as well.

Ok so here's the important part.

The primer is a thick consistency and doesn't feel too bad when you start blending it in and it looks like it has an illuminating quality (obviously being matte it doesn't stay that way). As you blend it in the formula really dries us and starts to drag your skin. It has a slightly tacky and uncomfortable feel to it which is a total disappointment. The tackiness however is good for keeping your make up on but it just didn't feel good to wear or apply.

This was less expensive than the other primer at only £10.50 (I think) which is an upside but to be honest this primer isn't for me.

First Impressions: No7 Stay Perfect Primer

I only had the chance to try this for the first time yesterday thanks to my mum. She suggested I give a few of her primers a go and of course I jumped at the opportunity!

If I had a preference in containers for primer I would always choose bottle with a pump but I don't mind a squeeze tube so long as I can get all the product out of it.

This is a pretty standard primer to look and and has a super silky smooth feel when blending it in. I have to say that I really love the texture of this primer. The staying power seems to be very good and well on form compared to other primers out there that cost a lot more.

Blended in it looks invisible which is what you want really and as you might be able to tell from the photo it has blurred some of the lines on my hand which is double nice!

Really I love everything about this stuff but the only downside is the size of the tube. This is 20ml and by the looks of things they don't offer a larger size. At £12.50 it isn't the cheapest especially when No7 offers other primers (I will review another) that are twice the size and only cost £10.50

Have you tried any No7 primers? What do you think?

First Impression: Revlon Matte Balm

I am taking any and every opportunity to try out products. I'd like to say that I finally bought this but a) I'm still on my spending ban and b) I swiped it from my sisters stash (not quite how it sounds, I asked to try it). I'm very happy that I got to try this because as you might have read in my Fixation Friday post then you know how desperately I want these, if you haven't then read it here

This is the Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm. I want to say this is i the colour Striking but I'm not sure, really I should have made a note but oh well.

Let's start with packaging. I'm a big fan of lipsticks/ glosses in a pencil format, they just look appealing as well as being practical. This particular product happens to look really sleek with the simple shape and silver/ colour finish.

So these aren't the most matte things I have tried but they definitely give a matte finish. They are also a really creamy formula and they just glide on super nicely.

The pigment is also there, I find with this colour (not sure about others) that there was no patchyness and the colour was so nice and even.

They also have a bit of a minty smell which is a bonus to me.

This is what it looks like on and I think it looks amazing. This colour isn't exactly what I would choose because it's orange based but I really do want to try more of these.

Have you tried them? What do you think?

First Impressions: Liz Earle Gentle Face Exfoliator

Another first impression yay!! This time it's about Liz Earle Gentle Face Exfoliator.

(Excusee the mega chipped nail haha!)

My face has had a rough time this week. The blemishes on my chin are clearing up but my forehead has decided it hates me. I was in need of a good exfoliator so I decided to give this a go.

Firstly, the smell! Even if you don't particularly need to exfoliate this is still nice and especially if you're feeling a little congested. This has eucalyptus and really makes for a lovely experience and like you can breath again (like Olbas or Vick's).

Secondly this isn't a harsh exfoliator but it also gets the job done, the grains are the right size so that they do scrub and not just roll about on your face.

Liz Earle is generally a very trusted skincare brand and if you're familiar with the other products in the brand then you will know what I am talking about. I seriously recommend giving this a go because it is just a really pleasant experience to use. Also be warned, the Liz Earle website does suggest that this is not suitable for sensitive skin, so that is something to consider.

This does retail for £14.00 so I believe is quite reasonable for skincare from a high end brand.

Have you tried this? What do you think?

First Impression: No7 Beautiful Skin Hot Cloth Cleanser

So I had a little spend yesterday so I thought I would share another first impression.

I only read about this the other day and how it had been compared with Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish. I will admit, I tried Cleanse and Polish once when my mum bought it and I can remember really liking it (probably because I wan't used to a balm cleanser), I should probably give it another go to get an idea of how to compare both of these products.

What I did was clean the majority of my make up off with Bioderma and then went in with this. All you do is get 1-2 pumps of this stuff and massage it around your face, you can literally rub this into your eyes to remove mascara and it will not hurt in the slightest. It just help get the last scraps of make up off. I comes with a muslin cloth which you then dampen with hot water and put on your face to open the pores and then wipe away the balm. My skin felt slightly exfoliated because of the cloth and also really hydrated and clean.

If you're new to balm cleansers like me then I would totally recommend this. I would say that if you are in the UK and shop in Boots then try and get a hold of a £5 off No7 Skincare voucher, this isn't particularly expensive product in the first place at £9.95 but if you can knock off a fiver then it's an amazing value.

Let me know your thought on this.

First Impression: Benefit Gimme Brow

It's been a very long time since I did a first impressions post so I think I owe you one.

The beauty world has been heavy with reviews on Benefits new brow offering. They already have quite a lot of brow products as it stands in the form of pencils, wax& powder duos and an already existing brow gel. However, the difference between Gimme Brow and Speed Brow is that Gimme Brow contains fibres and provides filler for sparser areas in the brow.

This is extremely small in size which did worry me a little. I did think well it's small and if I don't like it then I will have spent what I consider to be a lot of money on this. Conversely, If I do like this then it's not an awful lot of product you get for the money.

The wand is tiny which means precise to me. I love that it's so small, it means I can really work with it and though it might take a bit more time to fill in your brows it is worth it, your brows are important. You wouldn't but a beautiful window in an ugly frame (haha, I don't know if that's a saying so I'm claiming it!).

So, here I am pre-brows. The rest of my make up is done, so it literally is just brows left to do.

This just looks silly. You can totally see the difference this makes, my other brow looks almost non-existent!

Finally finished and I have to say that I think I am honestly in love with this product. I might as well ditch all my other brow products because this is all I need in my life. It's half the size of everything else (may be a downside later), the colour is spot on for me, the wand is perfect. The only downsides I have is that it costs more than I would like. Also, this is by no means a lightweight product, I can feel this on my brows which can be a little annoying for some people but I don't mind it.

Overall I'm going to give this a 10/10 for the product because it's a total winner for me. This does cost £17.50 which is a full £4.50 more expensive than their other brow gel but I'm guessing it doesn't do half as good a job.

Have you tried this yet? Let me know what you think.

Vaseline Spray and Go First Impression/ Happy 100th Post To ME!!

It's is officially my 100th post on my blog and whilst this post isn't particularly special at all I couldn't think of anything better. I may do something special later - not sure.

Anywhooo, I literally applied this 5 mins ago so you know that my thoughts are going to be damn strong!
I legit think I am in love with this thing! Let's just firstly put that out there because I can't stress how much I like it and I am going to tell you whyyy.....

- Firstly, just take a look at the packaging, I know I don't have a full picture but google it. Honestly I thought this was just going to be a ridiculous novelty that would be of no worth to anyone but how wrong was I. The (continuous) spray can is a genius idea! I am not one for dipping my hands in a pot or squeezing things out of tubes because for some reason it feels like too much effort (I'm so lazy haha!). But this, hands down, is super easy to use.

- Secondly, continuing on the first point. You know when you have applied a little moisturiser and then you go back to apply more and suddenly it becomes so infinitely difficult because your hands just slip all over? Well say good by to that nonsense! This stuff drys nicely and doesn't leave you feeling greasy or stick at all.

- Thirdly, the product is so easy to rub into the skin and you really don't need that much product at all, which is nice.

- Lastly and this is probably the biggest thing for me, I managed to put on a tight fitting top and skinny jeans with no difficulty! I have tried other moisturisers in the past *Cough* Nivea In Shower Moisturiser *Cough* and I can only use then If I had made the conscious decision to not wear jeans or a tight fitting top because there is no way in hell they will even pull up.

I literally don't have anything bad to say about this product and only time will tell how long this can lasts and I'm hoping it's going to be in my routine for a long time :)

Have you tried this product? Also What moisturisers are you currently loving?

Calvin Klein Megavolume Mascara Review

I posted about an amazing store that I found the other day and said that I was going to do some reviews on the products that I bought so I thought I would get going with this by talking about the CK mascara I piced up for the super amazing price of £3.99!

The packaging is super plain, it's just a plain black tube with the white CK logo on top.

Also please excuse my nails, they chipped away super fast for some reason. I literally painted them about 2 nights before.
The wand is plain too, Just super defined bristles.

I'd say as far as applicators go this is nothing special. It is pretty much the same as those disposable ones.

So I went ahead and did a comparison, the left is the CK mascara and the right is Smashbox Full Exposure. As you may or may not know the Smashbox mascara is one of my all time favourites so I thought it would be a good comparison point. I have very short lashes anyway and I find that the Smashbox manages to really get every lash and coat them perfectly whilst separating them and the CK one doesn't lengthen quite as much but gives such a beautifully natural finish. I think the CK formula is great and reapplication is easy, this only thing I would actually complain about is that the wand could be better shaped to really grab the lashes. I'm probably going to use this on dress down days because I really do like it and honestly think it's worth recommending to everyone (provided you can get a hold of it, I don't think it's that readily available)

I hope you enjoyed this review and look out for my reviews of the other products I got :)

Elf Palette Review

A couple of days ago I went onto the Elf website because I needed another lip exfoliator (amazing product!) and they had a 50% sale so I treated myself to a 100 colour palette. t arrived this morning and I have but together a short review for you :)

So here is the palette, It has really nice simple packaging and you can see most of the colours so at east you know what types you are getting.

But getting on to my thoughts, overall I give this palette a 4/10 and here is why;

To be honest, I am really disappointed by this and I am happy I did not pay full price, even though full price isn't even that expensive.

I can say for it that I like that it has a good range of colours (it even has red!) and a nice amount of mattes, shimmers and satins.

The mattes were probably worst of all. When you first swatch the colours (even satins and shimmers) the pigment doesn't look too bad, mattes had the least but I thought that they might apply well. They were all kind of wishy-washy when you actually apply them, this goes for all finishes so applying with a brush is useless, I would recommend dabbing on with a finger to get the best colour payoff and also use a cream base for it to hold onto.

The issue I had with satin/shimmer is the amount of fallout! it was crazy.

Here I have a set of swatches, I chose a shimmer colour to demonstrate.
Top is swatched with a finger
Middle is swatched with a brush
Bottom is applied with a cream base underneath.

I think I can still use these and they would be ok for costume makeup so I think I will save them for that sort of thing.

Obviously I don't want to discourage anyone from buying these because you might really like them but they weren't for me. They were only £7.50 reduced from £15 so it's not too bad.

Anyway, I am planning to get some more videos on the go, I'm just trying to find better software for this but I should be up and running again soon.

I hope you enjoyed my review and I will speak again soon :)

Essie Sleek Stick Nail Stickers Review/ First Impression/ Tutorial

I know that this is the 3rd post of the day and I have got loads to show you. I'm just going about my daily life and just finding things that I want to show you so I thought I'd share this one. I got 3 sets of these nail stickers by Essie as well as 6 of their polishes :) I've never tried nail stickers before  nd I always feel a little skeptical about them because I have 1 really weird shaped nail and I just think that the shapes they give you are only going to work on those who have perfect shape nails. Anyway, here are my thoughts/tutorial.

So I am using 09 Stickers and Stones.

It is a simple brown/grey colour with bubbled gem style details on the side of the nail.

So I have trimmed my nails down so that they are all even an filed them straight. My hands are thoroughly clean and sanitized.

So I applied one of the appliques and to be honest I really like it so far!
They have good sticking ability and fit on my nail quite well.

They give you 14 stickers in a set so that at least you have some options about size.
So here it is before I've trimmed it down (sorry the picture's blurry).

You just need to make sure that it fits your nail alright and that it is properly stuck down before trimming the sticker.
And here is the final result!

I did have a little bit of an issue with some of the edges not sticking down so well but I fixed this by just applying a bit of base coat underneath like a glue.

So I really like them so far, hopefully they will last as long as they say they will but I guess I will find out!

Nivea In-Shower Body Moisturiser Review

It's been a long time since I have dedicated a blog post to actually showing you a product or doing something with a product and I thought I owed it to you all to make an effort.

So this is only a short one but I used the Nivea In-Shower Body Moisturiser for the first time today. I really wanted to try this and I have waited a long time to buy it. I went in without any knowledge other than looking at the advert.

Sorry the picture is a bit blurry but I was doing this quite quick.

Anyway so the thing about this product is that you don't have to get out of the shower before you moisturise and I think this is an amazing idea because I don't like doing it, I find it time consuming and like I really have to go out of my way to do it :/

It goes on nicely, it doesn't feel greasy but I can't agree that you can just slip your clothes on after, especially if your choice of clothing is a very tight pair of skinny jeans!

Suffice to say, my skin has felt great all day and I haven't felt like I've wasted my time doing this. The good thing is that they have 2 types, for normal and dry skin. I have chosen the normal own because I don't really suffer from dry skin on my body thankfully.

Overall I think that I would honestly recommend this if you don't particularly like moisturising, it takes 2 seconds to put it on, you rinse it off and you're good to go!
The smell isn't anything amazing but it's not bad and I think that's a big influence on whether I will like a product or not - It's supposed to be sea minerals but I don't really know what that's supposed to smell like.

It retails for £3.40 which I don't think is a bad price at all!

So for the past couple of days I have been testing out some elf products I bought. Of course I am excited to share with you my thoughts, so what I plan to do is tomorrow night I am going to film a video for my Elf haul but I think that it's good that I have left it for a while because now I can give you a little bit of a review on the products. Maybelline Baby Lips!

Eventually today I had managed to get my hands on one of the Baby Lips lip balms by Maybelline. I have never seen these being sold at any of the Maybelline stands around where I live and to be honest there weren't many to choose from when I did find them.

There was only the choice of 2. Either the mint balm or the intense care balm, I chose the latter.
They were only £2.99! So much more inexpensive than I thought they were going to be.
There wasn't any of the tinted balms otherwise I would have gone for one of those but I really wanted to try one so really I didn't care which one I got to try first.
I have literally only had this for about 4/5 hours and I have not stopped using it.

I love the packaging too, it's quite simple but cute and I just want to get more just because I reckon they would look great on display haha!

I am so glad that I have this now, to be honest I really needed a good lip balm and as to whether it actually does any good is to be seen but I am hopeful for this product and I will probably be buying more of these in the future. I seriously recommend this to anyone who is after a cheap lipbalm.

DIY testing! Milk + Gelatin Pore Strips

For those of you who are familiar with this method then you don't need any prior warning, but to those of you who have never done this before then I should tell you now that you really should not do this if you don't have a strong stomach.

So, you will need;
- Milk (plain, doesn't matter about fat content)
- Powdered gelatin - really important that it is powdered.
- Small glass for the mixture, make sure it's microwave safe!
- Spoon to mix
- Brush to apply

It's simple, all you have to do  is mix the gelatin and milk in a cup.
- roughly 3g powdered gelatin
-3 tbsp milk

Pop in the microwave for about 45-60 seconds until it's gloopy. Just don't do what I did and microwave for 30 seconds, think it's not doing anything and then whack it in for another minute because this is what happens.

It had literally exploded in the microwave and left a puddle of this disgusting mix :(
By this point you should understand why I recommended a strong stomach, I gauged that it smelled somewhere between off cheese and baby sick (sorry about the description but that's as accurate as I could get to telling you what it smells like).

So then you need to apply it wherever you need it and I suggest that you try somewhere you're not immediately going to smell and apply it thick! I applied it on my nose and it was sooo disgusting! There was clumps of gelatin and everything hahaha.

Don't get me wrong, once it's dried it work so much better than a pore strip but I really can't get past the smell. If you have any ideas on how to fix this then pleeeaasssee let me know :P

I hope you enjoyed this post and let me know how you got on with it :)

May Haul/Review

I have decided that I am going to start doing a monthly haul/review sort of thing, though this could end up being a little difficult because I suppose some months there might not be anything that I have to show you :S

Anyway, I have done a little shopping last month and as we are now officially into June then I can show a completed May haul/review and I will apologise in advance for the picture to text ratio, so sorry about that!. Here we go...

First of all I picked up this Smashbox Try It Kit from boots for £19 and for that price I thought it would be worth a shot.

So In this kit (From left to right) :
1. Photo Finish Primer
2. Photo Finish Lid Primer
3. Limitless Eye Liner - Onyx
4. Hyperlash Mascara
5. Lip Enhancing Gloss

My first thoughts when seeing what was in the box was that it is really a decent starter kit and because I had never used smash box before than this would be the best was to get introduced to it. I have tried other primers/lid primers before so it is interesting to see how well they compare to the others.

I have actually used all of these products so here are my thoughts:

1. Photo Finish Primer:
I actually really like this! I have heard very mixed reviews and I can see why. I love the feel of the product on my skin and it does make my skin a little matte but not as much as I would have hoped for. It feels soo luxurious on the skin and it really smooths everything out. So over all I do like it and I would either consider buying it again or choosing another primer from Smashbox and I am very interested in trying the green colour correcting primer that they have as that is a very big issue for my skin.

2. Photo Finish Lid Primer:
I was using the Urban Decay Primer Potion before using this primer and I really love my primer potion, it is the perfect formula but I like this primer as well. The primer applies in the same way as Urban Decay but for some weird reason the formula feels a bit rough :/ It's also coloured to about a light medium skin tone which I'm really not a fan of because I have such fair skin...Actually after a bit of research, they only have one colour and it's described as warm beige. So as much as I think that it's a nice primer I think I'll stick to my Urban Decay.

3. Limitless Eyeliner - Onyx
I have wanted to buy a new pencil eyeliner for a while and it's great that I have this one to try. I was using the Clinique Quickliner but I was thinking about buying the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on Eyeliner. I just want something that would work well for tightlining (If you have any suggestions then let me know) so it needs to stay and be nice to apply. I found that this was nice to apply on skin but when I was trying to apply it to my tightline it was a little difficult to get on a first but then finally went on. It is a really nice quality eyeliner and stays on quite and the colour is quite intense, but I much prefer a gel liner for my eyes.

4. Hyperlash Mascara:
I LOVE this mascara, Its a standard plastic brush but one edge has a row of slightly longer spikes. It's fantastic for lengthening and volumising lashes. It's not a harsh formula that dries solid so touching up on your mascara won't hurt too much.I would seriously recommend giving this a try.

5. Lip Enhancing Lipgloss:
I'm always a bit dubious about new lipglosses, mainly because there is nothing worse than a sticky lipgloss, especially if you have long hair like me. This one wasn't too sticky but I would still have to tie my hair back, the colour is really nice - its like a sparkly champagne. There was one thing that I really didn't like and it was that after a while it felt really gritty on my lips so I probably wouldn't buy this again but I will finish it.

This is another Smashbox mascara and I managed to only get this for £2! They were having a charity event at their counter in Boots Eldon Square where if you donated to Macmillan Cancer Support then you got to do a lucky dip :)

It's a really nice mascara and the formula isn't too different to the Hyperlash but the brush gives a fuller effect and I think this usually retails for around £17 so compared to some other brands then it's not too bad of a price.

I would like to just this opportunity to mention a bit more about Macmillan Cancer Support and how important their work is. They raise money so that there can be a higher quality of support for those who are suffering with cancer, providing them with the appropriate care and someone to be there for them because they believe that no one should have to go through it alone. I really feel that their work is exceptional and that more people should know about their work. Here's their website --> http://www.macmillan.org.uk/Home.aspx

I have also been to M.A.C and bought myself a few little goodies :)

This first one is the Extra Dimensions Eyeshadow in Opalesse
and this makes a brilliant brow and cheek bone highlighter.

It's a two tone pearly shadow. Mainly white with a purple effect.

It's bigger than the normal eyeshadows and I think it casts about £16.50

I have heard loads of beauty bloggers talking about how much they like this lipstick and so I decided that I would give it a try!

I absolutely love the smell of M.A.C lipsticks and their colour range is fantastic. This is the colour Creme Cup and it is a Cremesheen finish and its a pinky beige colour which I think is fantastic for everyday wear!

The lipsticks cost about £14 which I don't think is massively over priced and they have virtually every colour you could ever want!
I also bought my first ever M.A.C Nail Laquer and this is the colour Pistachio Creme which is a pale mint green.
It costs about £10 which is reasonable considering there are other  brands which would cost more.

It's similar to Essie Mint Candy Apple but I think this is slightly more blue and could pass for a Tiffany's Blue.

I love this and the packaging is lovely but if I do buy another then I think I will go for something a little more obscure and unique.

I was also in Lush and I went in specifically to buy the Karma soap but when I got to the counter to pay the sales assistant said that they also made a perfume in the same scent.

There are 3 different intensities to this perfume and the solid one (pictured) is the weakest but by no means is it subtle.
They have one in a long tube which is the second strongest and
then one in a black bottle which is the strongest.

The solid perfume only costs £5 so it's really inexpensive and it has the most amazing smell. Though I would suggest that it is more of an autumn/ winter fragrance.

I hope that I haven't completely completely rambled on and if you think that I haven't provided you with the answers you wanted about a specific product shown then just let me know and I'll get back to you ASAP :)
I hope you like this post :)
